Imagine an Arizona where all girls and young women are safe, healthy, thriving, and ready to realize their full potential as productive and contributing citizens.
The Arizona Girls Roundtable was formed in the Spring of 2006, with assistance from the St. Luke’s Health Initiative TAP Group. Working with a local consultant, we developed our first steering committee, mission statement, vision, and goals. Today, we are proud to provide girl-serving agencies the following resources:
¶ Our Quarterly Workshop Series attracts audience members from several hundred agencies serving Arizona’s girls.
¶ Our List-serve reaches more than 1500 individuals and 200 agencies
¶ Our Facebook Community is used for marketing workshops and training, providing timely information about local events, sharing educational resources, and providing a venue for collaboration
¶ Our Newsletter provides tips for Best Practices, local events, and trends to watch for
¶ Our Steering Committee is made up of 12 Members, representing 8 organizations, including:
Florence Crittenton
Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine Council
Arizona State University, Justice Studies, Women and Gender Studies
